It was following a turbulent riding career that 1 began to feel the desire to breed horses. In effect, after the time of hotheadedness and of jumping competitions, came the time of reason and responsibility. I devoted myself to dressage and looked for a breed of horse which could bring something different from the perpetual multinational half blood horse.
Several possibilities offered themselves to me but the Lustanian horse, to my eyes, outclassed all the others both for its physique as well as for its intelligence. 1 chose two blood lines which 1 found cornplementary:
- Ervideira for its strength and character
- Veiga for its strength and impulsion.
These therefore are my breed stock:
Junco (CE), the stallion, son of Eldorado (MV) and Esbeita (CE), very baroque and gifted with an exceptional character.
Rafale (HJ), by Campia6 (SS) and Joia (MBR), admitted with 75 points.
Queijeira (CE), daughter of Imponente (MAC) and of Madragora (CE), admitted with 75.5 points.
The offspring are visible by appointment with Geoffrey and Muriel del Marmol at Leuze, near Eghezee.
